Terms of Service
Flight Plan B · Smooth Rock Media LLC, Nevada · Effective September 8, 2026 · Updated September 19, 2026
These terms are the deal between you and Smooth Rock Media LLC ("we") when you buy or use Flight Plan B ("the app") at flightplanb.com. Buying a pass or using the app means you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use it.
1. What you're buying
A pass costs $15 (US dollars) and unlocks the app on your device for 30 days for one itinerary (one round trip or one one-way trip). A pass includes up to 20 AI lookups (email reading, airport playbooks, Plan B ladders). One receipt can unlock up to three devices. No subscription, no auto-renewal. Prices may change for future purchases; a pass you already bought keeps its terms.
2. Refunds
If the unlock did not work on your phone, reply to your Stripe receipt email within 7 days of purchase and we will refund the full $15, no questions. Beyond that, passes are final sale, because the product is delivered in full the moment it unlocks. A refund cancels the pass on every device it unlocked. We would rather refund you than argue; if something went wrong, tell us.
3. Informational only. Not the airline.
Everything the app shows — where to park, which checkpoint, how long a walk takes, which flights might get you home — is guidance assembled from public airport information, our own field notes, and AI-generated text. It is not a booking service, not flight status, not official airport or TSA information, and not a promise that you will make a flight. The app cannot change, rebook, or hold a reservation. Airline agents, airline apps, airport signage, and TSA officers always take precedence over anything the app says.
4. AI-generated content
Parts of the app use an AI model (currently supplied by Anthropic) to read your confirmation email or screenshots, draft airport playbooks for airports we have not verified in person, and build Plan B rebooking ladders. AI output can be wrong, out of date, or invent details. Screens built from AI are labeled as such. Verify flight numbers, times, gates, and terminals with the airline before acting on them. You are not interacting with a human when you use these features.
5. Your data
Your trip stays on your device. What leaves your device, and what we keep, is described in the Privacy Notice, which is part of these terms.
6. Acceptable use
Don't resell passes or share unlock links, don't automate or scrape the service, don't send content you don't have the right to share, and don't try to break the paywall or the AI safeguards. We may cancel a pass that is used this way. The app is for adults; you must be 18 or older to buy a pass.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Smooth Rock Media LLC's total liability to you for anything arising out of the app or these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the pass. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including a missed or delayed flight, a lost hotel night, rebooking fees, lost work, or travel costs — even if the app's guidance contributed to them. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states don't allow certain limitations; in those states, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.
8. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. If we have a disagreement, contact us first; most problems are a refund away. If that fails, either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court in Clark County, Nevada, or in the small claims court where you live. You and we each agree to bring claims only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative action. Nothing here stops you from filing a complaint with a consumer protection agency.
9. Third-party services
Buttons that open Waze, Uber, Lyft, airline apps, FlightAware, weather.gov, and similar services take you to those services under their own terms. Payment is processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms; we never see your card number. Airline, airport, and program names (including TSA PreCheck®, CLEAR, Uber, and Lyft) are the trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe them. Flight Plan B is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any airline, airport, the TSA, CLEAR, Uber, Lyft, or Stripe.
Hotel links. The "Stuck Tonight" screen has buttons that open hotel searches on other companies' sites. We may earn a commission if you book through some of those buttons. When we do, the screen says so next to the buttons. A commission never changes your price, the order of the buttons, or the advice on the screen, and the advice to ask your airline for a room first always comes before them. We do not sell, hold, or guarantee any hotel room; your booking is with the hotel or the booking site under their terms.
Airport status and airline commitments. Ground stops and delay programs shown in the app come from the FAA's public feed and describe an airport, not your flight. What an airline "commits to" comes from the U.S. Department of Transportation's published airline commitments on the date shown in the app. A commitment is the airline's, not ours, and the airline's agent decides what you get.
10. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes get a new effective date at the top of this page. A pass you already bought keeps working for its 30 days under the terms you bought it under. We may suspend the service for maintenance or safety; if we shut it down permanently during your 30 days, we refund the pass.
11. Accessibility
We aim for WCAG 2.1 AA. If something in the app is hard for you to use with assistive technology, email us and we'll fix it or find you a workaround.
